Lakeside Casino Resort is located about 40 miles south of Des Moines, in Osceola, Iowa along Interstate 35, Exit 34. We have hotel and RV accommodations, buffet, lounge and of course one of the best gaming spots in Iowa! Make us your next rest stop when traveling through Iowa!

bulletFrom Des Moines: Take Interstate 35 south, go PAST the Exit 36 Osceola exit, and take the next exit; Exit 34. At the stop sign, turn right onto Clay Street. You will see the casino and parking to the left.
bulletFrom Omaha/Chicago: Take I80 to Des Moines and connect with I35 South. Take Interstate 35 south, go PAST the Exit 36 Osceola exit, and take the next exit; Exit 34. At the stop sign, turn right onto Clay Street. You will see the casino and parking to the left.
bulletFrom Kansas City: Go North on Interstate 35, go past the first Osceola exit, and take the second exit, Exit 34. Take a right on Clay Street, over the bridge, and the casino will be to the left.
bulletFrom Highway 34 East/West: Go to Interstate 35 North, take Exit 34. Take a right on Clay Street, over the bridge, and the casino will be to the left.
bulletFrom Highway 69 South: Go into Osceola, take a left on Highway 34, go to Interstate 35 North, take Exit 34. Take a right on Clay Street, over the bridge, and the casino will be to the left.

Lakeside Casino Resort is home to the SS Osceola, which is a casino boat with two decks totaling 37,480 sq. ft. This is rather large boat, but what is amazing is its wide stance and four-point maneuverability allows it to cruise in shallow water. Despite its size, the hull only sits about 6-7 ft. deep into the water. It has four powerful outboard engines, one on each corner.

bulletThe casino boat can hold up to 2,150 passengers.
bulletThe casino boat, to comply with Iowa gaming regulations, cruises 100 times per year during the spring and summer months. It cruises Beginning in April in the morning hours, 7:30am-9:30am Monday through Friday, and 7am - 9am Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Special cruises are also done in the evenings. After the 100th cruise we are finished for the season, which usually ends around September.
bullet The entire facility totals 134,452 sq. ft. The hotel is 39,348 sq. ft., and the main pavilion and convention center is 57,624 sq. ft.
